Type Design is often developed from a Western perspective, centered around the Latin alphabet. Even though, in recent times, there’s light being shed on Non-Latin Type Design practices, there’s little talk about the intertwined nature of the two worlds.

Indian Typographic Diary proposes a starting point for condensing information around the turmoil languages, and scripts have faced in South Asia. Weaving through societal contexts and stories of designers and educators contributing to the post-colonial design discourse; the publication itself tries to incorporate abundance and limitations at the same time. Printed in parts in New Delhi and Zurich, it reflects the influence of both places.
